RUNPUDSEY 2024
THANK YOU FOR COMPLETING RUNPUDSEY 2024!
You’ve raised more than ever before and we hope you all had fun joining in!
We can’t thank you enough for your energy and commitment fundraising for BBC Children in Need and helping to Make Life Lighter for children across the UK.
We’re currently experiencing a delay getting your 2024 runPudsey medals out to you but our team are working really hard to ensure that every pupil that fundraised gets their medal as soon as possible.
We’ll be sending out an email soon with some more information – thank you again for supporting BBC Children in Need!
HOW CAN MY SCHOOL GET INVOLVED?
Your school can sign up anytime from Tuesday 1st October until BBC Children in Need day on Friday 15th November.
Your pupils can complete your challenge at any point within that time period too – you could work on your challenge once a week, or save the whole challenge to be completed the week of BBC Children in Need day!
HAVE FUN WHILE YOU FUNDRAISE!
Remember to ask pupils to share their challenge with friends and family and see if they can get sponsored. Why not challenge yourself to raise £10 (or more!) when getting involved with runPudsey this year?
Whether it’s pennies or pounds, everyone who fundraises will receive this year’s brand new and exclusive runPudsey 2024 medal to celebrate all your efforts!
How to Take Part with runPudsey 2024:
1. Register
Visit runPudsey.co.uk and register as a school. You will need a copy of your school logo to add so you can personalise your school page and your school URN from the .gov website. If you use your sch.uk email, you will be automatically accepted; if you use another email, it may take up to 24 hours to verify you. You will then receive a unique school code & unique link to share with parents.
2. Share the Sign-ups
Share your new school registration page with parents so they can sign up for their children to take part. Be sure to send them your unique school code. When they signup they will be given an individual fundraising page.
3. Log In
When you log in using your teacher details, you will be able to see all the children taking part so you can ensure they all take part in the challenge.
Why not send out a weekly reminder in your newsletter for signups and to encourage people to get sponsored?
4. Run your Challenge!
Get your students together at the time of your choice and take part in the activities. Dress up, decorate, go wild and have fun!
5. Get your Medals and Certificates!
The runPudsey team will calculate the correct number of medals for each school and send them directly to you. (Please let parents know that medals will be sent to the school so that you can hold a celebration of achievement, and medals cannot be sent to individual homes.)
