Primary School Prize Draw Terms and Conditions (Gladiators Prize) 2024
BBC Children in Need Prize Draw Terms and Conditions Primary School (Gladiators Prize) – 2024
- The prize draw is open to all Primary Schools in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, except anyone closely connected with the prize draw or any BBC Children in Need employees or relatives. Entrants must be authorised by the Primary School to enter and be 18 or over. By entering, all entrants will be deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
- There will be 8 winners.
- Each winning prize is 1 x visit from The Gladiators, who will lead a visit on behalf of BBC Children in Need. The Gladiators visits will be carried out by a different number and variation of cast members depending upon the day and location of each visit. No specific cast members or number of Gladiators can be guaranteed.
- The Gladiators visits will take place between Monday 11th November and Thursday 14th November 2024 and will be supported by BBC Children in Need staff member(s). The specific date and time of each visit will be agreed between us and the relevant winner but will be subject to The Gladiators availability and scheduling requirements for all visits. No alternative dates can be offered outside of this window.
- To enter, you must complete the ‘order your primary school fundraising pack’ form online here, selecting ‘Primary School’ as your school phase.
- There are no other methods of entry. No payment, purchase or investment is necessary to be eligible to enter the prize draw.
- Entries open on Thursday 12th September 2024 and close at midnight on Friday 18th October 2024.
- Only one entry per Primary School will be allowed: only the first entry will be considered, with all future entries subsequently discounted. Entries from third party agents or bulk entries will not be eligible for the prize draw.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the prize draw. BBC Children in Need will not be responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason, by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
- Unclear entries will not be eligible for the prize draw and acceptance of an entry is subject to BBC Children in Need’s reasonable discretion.
- Within two working days after the closing date, the winners of this prize draw will be drawn at random by BBC Children in Need from all valid entries received. The winners will be randomly selected using a number generator and this will be completely independent and unbiased. BBC Children in Need’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winners will be contacted by phone and/or email. BBC Children in Need will endeavour to notify the winners on Tuesday 22nd October 2024. If, after reasonable attempt, a winner does not respond to claim their prize within 2 working days (by Thursday 24th October 2024) of our first contact, or a winner refuses the prize for any reason, or is unable to host the Gladiators School Tour visit on the specified day of the planned visit, BBC Children in Need reserves the right to offer the prize to the next randomly selected Primary School that validly entered the prize draw.
- By entering the prize draw you agree that, if you win, BBC Children in Need may publicise your Primary School name and county. If you object to any or all of your Primary School name or county being published, please contact BBC Children in Need at [email protected]. In such circumstances, BBC Children in Need must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- The Gladiators visit must take place at the Primary School’s official address.
- The prize must be accepted as offered; there is no cash alternative or replacement. The prize is not transferable.
- We may cancel the prize draw, if deemed necessary in our opinion, or if circumstances arise outside our control. We may also amend these terms and conditions at any stage and in any way.
