Primary School Prize Draw Terms and Conditions (Pudsey Prize) 2024
BBC Children in Need Prize Draw Terms and Conditions Primary School (Pudsey Prize) – 2024
- The prize draw is open to all Primary Schools in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, except anyone closely connected with the prize draw or any BBC Children in Need employees or relatives. Entrants must be authorised by the Primary School to enter and be 18 or over. By entering, all entrants will be deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
- There will be 10 winners.
- Each winning prize is the loan of one official Pudsey Bear suit by BBC Children in Need to the winning Primary School for one week.
- The winning Primary School must organise a volunteer to wear the suit and you will be responsible for them. The suit will be made available at a mutually agreeable date and BBC Children in Need will pay for courier delivery and collection of the suit to the Primary School’s registered address. To claim the prize, winning Primary Schools will need to complete and sign additional documentation in relation to the loan of the suit. By entering the prize draw, you agree on behalf of your Primary School if you win, to:
- keep the Pudsey suit safe and in good condition;
- only use the Pudsey suit in the Primary School setting that you entered;
- follow the Pudsey suit rules which will be provided to you; and
- reimburse us for the reasonable and direct costs of repairing the Pudsey suit if for any reason you damage it (excluding fair wear and tear) if we ask you to.
- To enter, you must complete the ‘tell us what you’re doing’ form online here selecting ‘Primary School’ as your school phase.
- There are no other methods of entry. No payment, purchase or investment is necessary to be eligible to enter the prize draw.
- Entries open on Thursday 12th September 2024 and close at midnight on Friday 15th November 2024.
- Only one entry per Primary School will be allowed: only the first entry will be considered, with all future entries subsequently discounted. Entries from third party agents or bulk entries will not be eligible for the prize draw.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the prize draw. BBC Children in Need will not be responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason, by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
- Unclear entries will not be eligible for the prize draw and acceptance of an entry is subject to BBC Children in Need’s reasonable discretion.
- Within ten working days after the closing date, the winners of this prize draw will be drawn at random by BBC Children in Need from all valid entries received. The winners will be randomly selected using a number generator and this will be completely independent and unbiased. BBC Children in Need’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winners will be contacted by email. BBC Children in Need will endeavour to notify the winners on Monday 2th December 2024. If, after reasonable attempt, a winner does not respond to claim their prize within 5 working days (being Monday – Friday) of our first contact, or a winner refuses the prize for any reason, BBC Children in Need reserves the right to offer the prize to the next randomly selected Primary School that validly entered the prize draw.
- By entering the prize draw you agree that, if you win, BBC Children in Need may publicise your Primary School name and county. If you object to any or all of your Primary School name or county being published, please contact BBC Children in Need at [email protected]. In such circumstances, BBC Children in Need must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- The suit will only be sent to the school’s registered/official address.
- The prize must be accepted as offered; there is no cash alternative or replacement. The prize is not transferable.
- We may cancel the prize draw, if deemed necessary in our opinion, or if circumstances arise outside our control. We may also amend these terms and conditions at any stage and in any way.
