Take on the Captain Tom 100
The family of the late Captain Sir Tom Moore have invited all those he inspired to celebrate what would have been his 101st Birthday with a unique fundraising event across Friday 30 April to Bank Holiday Monday 3 May.
The ‘Captain Tom 100’ hopes to build on the generosity of spirit, hope and joy that Captain Sir Tom Moore spread with his famous 100 laps around his garden.
Supporters are invited to set their own challenge based around the number 100 to raise money for charities of their choice, including BBC Children in Need.
By raising money for BBC Children in Need, you’ll be helping to support children and young people facing disadvantages of all kinds across all corners of the UK.

How to get involved in the ‘Captain Tom 100’
Your ‘Captain Tom 100’ fundraiser could be anything, so long as it’s inspired by the number 100.
Think about things you love doing, things you don’t necessarily love doing or things you find challenging, and do that thing 100 times over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Tell your friends and family about your plans, and ask them to sponsor or make a donation for completing your activity.
Setting up a fundraising page is the easiest way for you and your supporters to collect donations, and it makes paying in your hard-earned sponsorship easy.
