Spot Match Game
We all know that Pudsey Bear loves spots and games, so we’ve combined the two to create a brilliant activity for younger children. By matching up the coloured spots, youngsters can develop problem solving skills and cognitive abilities. Follow the steps below to create this super fun and straightforward game.
What you will need
- An even number of large lollipop sticks
- Multicoloured spot stickers
- A craft knife
- A flat surface, such as a table
How to do it
- Place two lollipop sticks side by side on the table, making sure that they are touching.
- Peel a coloured spot off its backing paper and stick it over the join between the two sticks.
- The dot should be about 1.5 cm from the top of the sticks, with half on one stick and half on the other.
- Choose another coloured spot and stick it around 1.5 cm directly below the last one.
- Continue until you have stuck down four spots of different colours.
- This step is for adults only: carefully use the craft knife to cut along the join between the two sticks, dividing them.
- Do this as many times as you want – the more the better. Make sure you stick down the spots in a different order each time.
- Mix up the sticks and challenge a child in your life to match them up in pairs, with the correct colours meeting each other!
