For urgent help and support

SHOUT

Free, confidential, 24/7 text support service for anyone in the UK who is struggling to cope.

To start a conversation, text the word ‘SHOUT’ to 85258. Trained volunteers are there to listen at any time of day or night, and messages won’t appear on the phone bill.

CHILDLINE

Free, confidential support and advice, 24 hours a day on 0800 1111

The Samaritans

Providing emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope or at risk of suicide.

NHS 111/999

Information for finding immediate expert advice and assessment.

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM)

Information and support for anyone who is struggling with things and needs to talk. Available via helpline/web chat
